The North District and Central District Wastewater Treatment Plants Ocean Outfall Legislation Projects is to construct components required upstream of the to-be constructed municipal injection wells at the North District and Central District Wastewater Treatment Plants.
The purpose of these projects is to comply with Florida’s Ocean Outfall Legislation by eliminating the normal use of the ocean outfall, thereby reducing nutrient discharges and improving water quality.
