3A Makina is a reliable fabrication partner to a wide variety of commercial, municipal, industrial organizations in the water and wastewater treatment industry, We are serving global industry leaders since 1985. We use our experience, expertise and flexibility to adapt different projects to deliver high quality, in-house built equipment.
We understand the challenges of water and wastewater treatment applications, especially the requirement for high quality, custom fabricated equipment that can outlast the highly corrosive substances used for water treatment facilities.
Our fabrication facilities have been divided into two separate sections to prevent contamination of steel and stainless steel. We specialize in the custom design fabrication of a wide range of equipment using specialty steels including exotic steel and stainless steel grades.
Our services are not limited to fabrication, only. We offer testing, installation, logistics and startup services to minimize the costs of our partners.
3A Makina is ready to serve companies of all sizes to increase their competitiveness by providing high competitive prices without giving up on quality and without increasing the workload of the clients by handling all the documentation in a proper way.
Ultrafiltration (UF), Microfiltration (MF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) are the water treatment processes of separating low molecular weight particles such as colloids and macromolecules from water with the help of a membrane filter by creating pressure.
Flocculation clarifiers are particularly effective for flocculation and clarification of municipal and industrial water supplies, screened primary sewage, wastes with high grit content, and industrial wastewater containing heavy settleable solids.
Gravity thickening increases the solids concentration by allowing the particles to settle to the base of a vessel, producing a concentrated (thickened) solids stream at the vessel base and a supernatant (diluted) stream at the surface.
High-Rate Thickeners separate liquids from solids using hindered settling. Rotating rake arms collect settled sludge and move it toward the center discharge cone. They use minimal amounts of polymers/chemicals to drop the solids, making High-Rate Thickeners environmentally friendly.
Package plants for biological wastewater treatment with activated sludge are a great way to achieve advanced wastewater treatment results in an economical manner.
Paste Thickeners are used by mineral and aggregate producers, as well as environmental contractors, where the benefits of high-density underflow translate into savings in downstream processing costs, such as tailings storage facility costs, or lower volumes in leaching operations.
Pressure filters are similar in bed construction to rapid gravity filters, except that they are contained in a steel pressure vessel. Perforated pipes or a steel plate with nozzles are used for collecting the filtered water and for distribution of the wash water and air scour. The steel pressure vessel is cylindrical, arranged horizontally or vertically.
Rotary Vacuum Drum Filters process slurry and discharge cake in a continuous process. They can be used in wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, chemical manufacturing, the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, mineral mining and refining, and the food processing industry. RVDFs are ideal for a slurry with variable cake thickness, moisture content, and stickiness.
Water screening is a critical feature of all municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants because it retains particles contained in the wastewater. These solids must be removed at the start of the water treatment process because they can make the entire system less efficient, damage expensive and necessary water treatment equipment, or taint water, creating minor to big scale natural disturbances for a region’s entire ecosystem.
Screw conveyors are the mechanisms that use a rotating helical screw blade to move bulk materials, both liquid and solid. In the modern industry, they are typically used at a horizontal angle or a slight incline to move semi-solid materials.
