Siirt Madenkoy Copper Mine Concentrator Facility is the fifth expansion of Cengiz Holding’s investments in copper mining industry. 

It has a well system with a tower height of 76 meters, a depth of 661 meters and a diameter of 6.5 meters, consisting of connection roads between the ore and human transportation well and underground galleries, providing economic and technological benefits. It has many fixed facilities such as underground shelter stations, underground dining hall stations, backfill stations, underground ore transportation band roads, underground wastewater stations, wastewater and clean water stations with a human-first approach. 

The underground mine, which is planned to extract 950 thousand tons of raw ore during the preparation phase, will extract 1 million 250 thousand tons of raw ore annually after the completion of the preparatory work.

Works in all areas defined as open space (non-fortified area) are carried out using remotely controlled unmanned equipment.
